Prior to moving back to her native Texas roots, Devan lived and worked in New York city. Starting out with Devan McClelland Image Consulting, she provided styling services to personal clients and media. In addition to her fashion styling career she began a blog called, The Art of Living. She uses the blog as a platform to share her musings on living an impeccably styled and fulfilled life.

After styling an editorial shoot for luxury women’s wear collection, Maison de Papillon, she was hired as Creative Director for the brand. As Creative Director, her role was to establish what designs should be created, what would appeal to the target market and how the concepts would be applied and distributed in collaboration with fashion designers.

Soon after returning to Austin, Texas she began her own line of fine jewelry, Devan Collection. Her passion for jewelry, travel and culture inspired her to create DEVAN COLLECTION, as a destination for her custom jewelry. She designs and is a part of the each part of the process to make every one of kind piece and has developed a loyal following of clients around the country.

Devan believes in upholding authenticity, exuding a positive light, and making statements. She is endlessly inspired by the world around her and the beauty of positive influences and ideas that affect people's lives for the better.
